Tattoos by Kim |

I’m thirty-five, and was born in Arcadia, California. When I have time for hobbies, I enjoy wildlife rescue, working with my birds, beading, and reading. I’ve been tattooing for twelve years now, and it all began right here, with being apprenticed by Bill. I have, however, learned from many different artists. It’s been a process of picking up work from different tattooists, learning more and more daily, and eventually developing my own style. I’ve learned a lot from Brian Everett (he’s also my favorite tattooist because of his portraits and realistic work), but Bill is my biggest influence. My favorite style of tattooing is realistic work, black and grey, portraits, and wildlife. I just enjoy working with people in general. My advice to someone considering his or her first tattoo is to think and don’t rush into it. Remember that it will be on your body for the rest of your life. Think about where you want it and be sure to research your tattooist as well as the tattoo.
