Tattoos by Zech (short for Zechariah)

My name is Zechariah, (Zech for short) 36 years old. Born in Atlanta, Ga. I've been drawing since I could pick up a crayon or pencil. I've won a few art contests as a child, and kept up with art until I was about 17 years old.

I took up other interests and did not resume drawing until I was about 21 years old. It was tattooing that got me back into art, and back to the drawing board.

Tattooing, for me, turned out to be an on-going challenge, driving me to keep at it and get better. I worked at a few shops around town, and two that aren't in Sacramento. All of the shops I've worked at turned out to be learning exsperiences for me, there are some things that tattoo shops do differently, but are generalized for the most part.

I do piercings as well, I learned the trade when I started working at a professional tattoo shop.

I've had the honor of doing a couple of guest sittings at Judy Parker's shop down in San Diego, a very nich lady and an oustanding aritst.

Its always inspiring to see other artist work, it helps bring fresh ideas to the drawing table. It tooke me a few years to realize that tattooing was my life, to be content and comfortable with my career.

I always try the best I can with each tattoo, to bring out the creative artistic exspressions that last a life time.
